Issues with Turkish Airlines Staff at Podgorica Airport


We had a flight at 20:30 returning from our Montenegro vacation. A THY staff member, F***** A*****, approached us at Podgorica Airport and explained that due to overbooking, some customers needed to fly that day. He made us an offer. He promised to accommodate my spouse and me at the Ramada Hotel, including taxi fare, and to send us on the first flight at 08:30 the next morning. He offered us a total of 500€ (250€ per person) including the flight ticket. He assured us that we would receive the money upon arrival at Istanbul Airport with the documents provided. We agreed, but I had my doubts. I asked for his contact number in case of any issues, as we were in a foreign country. He gave me a THY phone number and assured me that he would be there in the morning to handle everything. The next morning, we were brought to the airport by taxi, but the THY staff member was not there, and the gate was about to open. Another staff member, who spoke poor English and only Montenegrin and Serbian, eventually understood our issue and provided the documents. Upon arrival at Istanbul THY, I was told that only 250€ was visible for me, and nothing for my spouse due to missing documents. Because of the incompetence and lies of the THY staff member F***** A*****, we landed at Istanbul Airport at 14:00. We had to meet with the Istanbul THY supervisor to resolve the issue, who informed us that we would have to wait 14 days. Due to the THY Podgorica Airport staff member F***** A*****, we lost both time and our bus. THY employees are always problematic; no one knows anything or can solve issues. There is no one to communicate with.
