THY Flight Booking Price Update Issue
While trying to book a round-trip flight from Istanbul to Nice on THY, I encountered an error on the payment screen and couldn't complete the purchase. I immediately called customer service, who informed me that a price update occurred while I was on the payment screen. Fearing further price increases, I went ahead and bought the ticket. Less than half an hour later, I noticed that the flight, with the same class and standards, had reverted to the original price I first attempted to buy it at. I called the call center again and was told that price differences might occur between 00:00-01:00 due to the day change. I expressed that if I had been informed of this during my first call, I wouldn't have experienced this issue. I was transferred to a representative named F***** who answered the phone with 'Why did they transfer you at this hour?' Despite this, I remained polite and did not react negatively. He told me to submit a written complaint and did not assist further. After submitting the written complaint, I received a call stating they would help, but the next day I got an email saying the flight might not be of the same standard. I then mentioned that I would initiate legal action and expected a call. While holding the phone, I received an email claiming they couldn't reach me. I feel disrespected and lied to by the staff. I believe this behavior does not align with the company's vision and mission. I demand my issue be resolved.
