TuneCore Charged My Bank Card Four Times Without Authorization
On May 9, TuneCore made four consecutive unauthorized charges to my personal bank card, each in the amount of approximately $52, with the transaction description listed as “personal care services.” I have never had a TuneCore account, subscription, or any prior business relationship with the company. Despite this, my card information was used without my knowledge or authorization, resulting in fraudulent transactions.
As soon as I noticed the charges, I contacted my bank and filed a formal dispute regarding the transactions. For security reasons, my bank immediately blocked and canceled my card. However, I have not received any additional information regarding the investigation or the source of these unauthorized payments.
I request that TuneCore conduct a thorough investigation into these transactions, determine which account or user utilized my card information, and provide a clear explanation regarding how these charges occurred. I also request a full refund of the total amount withdrawn from my card without my consent.
This matter is urgent and has caused significant concern and inconvenience. I expect my financial loss to be reimbursed as quickly as possible and request written updates regarding the status and outcome of the investigation.
