Trendyol Gold Purchase Problem - Seller Changes, Price Hike
On February 27, 2024, using the Trendyol app, I purchased a 10-gram 22-carat gold bracelet with order number 9075071334. Despite having previously purchased from the same listing, this time I saw a different seller but proceeded with the buy. The product reviews and seller ratings belong to Ahlatçı Jewelers, however the purchased item displays Kızılay Jewelers. In an online discussion with customer care, I was informed that both were the same and that there was no need for concern, confirming the seller's credibility. My message was canceled after I sent the vendor the measurement details. On February 29, 2024, I received reassurances about the seller's reliability and that my item would be dispatched that evening. However, I later realized that my order had been canceled. When I protested about the cancelation owing to increased gold prices and hassle, I was given a ₺350 coupon valid for any item. However, when I tried to repurchase the same item, I was advised that the discount could not be used on gold products. When I sought to make a complaint, I was told they did not provide such a service. I requested the chat transcripts but was denied. I think it unacceptable that, despite having my credit card charged and the product purchased at a reasonable price, the brand failed to fully compensate, leaving the customer disappointed.
