TransferGo Delayed My Transfer Despite Full Verification
I urgently needed to send ₺270,000 (around £5,400) from Turkey to a close friend in the UK. I created a TransferGo account, completed all verification steps, and on Monday morning, I sent the full amount from my personal bank account to TransferGo. According to the transaction records, the money was successfully received by TransferGo at 08:32 AM.
Now it’s Day 2, and the funds are still being held. I'm being stalled with vague responses and excuses about “standard procedures,” even though everything is verified. They’re asking irrelevant questions that have nothing to do with the transfer. I’ve clearly stated multiple times that the situation is urgent, but I keep getting generic replies that avoid any real action.
I work in the IT industry as a white-collar professional—there’s absolutely nothing illegal or suspicious about this transfer. The money is already in their system, yet they won’t release it.
They facilitated the money transfer. My friend called their number from England, and the woman there was very surprised to see these screenshots and said she would report it to the head office.
