On 07.06.2023, between 17:00 and 18:00, I attempted to refuel at the Tatvan Total station. I have been a loyal Total Club member for approximately 5 years, if not longer, and have never encountered any issues until today. However, when I tried to load points onto my account after refueling, customer service informed me that my account was not active and advised me to contact them. I'm not sure what has changed, but I have refueled this vehicle (with license plate 34JCD019) at Total stations around 5 times. I spoke with customer service twice between 18:00 and 18:31. In summary, they explained that the system requires 5 registered license plates, and since it was not activated, they couldn't process my current vehicle's plate. I explained that I have had various vehicles over the past 5 years and currently using this one, requesting them to remove the other plates and indicate that I am using this particular vehicle. Customer service firmly stated that they cannot remove past license plates to process the current plate, which means they cannot credit my points for the fuel I purchased and that I can no longer use my accumulated points. If I had known that such a nonsensical system existed, I would never have refueled at Total stations. Essentially, if you own, let's say, 6 vehicles over a span of 10 years, your membership will be canceled, and you will lose access to all your accumulated points. Later, I attempted to check through the mobile app but found that they had removed my membership, and I couldn't log in to the system. I am filing a complaint with the Total headquarters. If a resolution cannot be reached, I will no longer refuel at Total and will not recommend it either. I will share this absurdity on every platform available to me. My request is to have all my previous vehicle records deleted, add my current vehicle (with license plate 34JCD019) to the system, and rectify this inconvenience. If a solution cannot be found, please provide me with my past fuel points and I will no longer refuel with you.
