Tommy Hilfiger Denied Refund for Unworn Items

On May 18th, I bought a couple of shirts for my spouse at the Tommy store in Kentpark. On the other hand, my spouse wasn't happy with the material of one shirt and the design of the collar on the other, so they didn't want to put them on. So, on May 25th, I headed over to the store with my receipts to return the stuff. I was informed that without the collar tags, I would be unable to exchange or return the items. I tried to clarify that we had taken off the collar tags to ensure a more comfortable fit, and our assistant accidentally got rid of them. However, they were adamant that they couldn't process the return without the tags. Even though I offered to send them for inspection, they still refused. Now, I have two shirts that I haven't worn and don't want. Is this the customer policy of the Tommy store? Should we be questioning our decision to shop from this brand for so long? If everything's good, we're all good, but if there's a problem, they're nowhere to be seen. I managed to track down their email address and decided to send my complaint there as well. If I don't receive a response, I'll take my case to the Consumer Court because I firmly believe I am in the right. I will stand up for my rights until the very end.
