Tesla Deposit Refund Denied After Loan Rejection, No Support Provided
I placed an order for a Tesla vehicle online and paid a ₺50,000 deposit. To complete the purchase, I applied for a loan through Yapı Kredi, the bank Tesla partners with. Unfortunately, my loan application was rejected, and I am now unable to proceed with the purchase.
Despite this, Tesla has refused to refund my deposit, leaving me in a difficult financial situation. To make matters worse, it is nearly impossible to reach anyone for support during the purchasing process or regarding this issue.
I demand Tesla return my deposit promptly and improve their customer service. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable for a company of this stature. I expect a resolution immediately.
Progress
I applied through the system to buy a Tesla, and they said we have an agreement with Yapı Kredi. I applied, but the loan was not approved. I applied to another bank for a different vehicle, and it was approved. Tesla did not refund my deposit, and I couldn't find anyone to contact at Tesla. There is no one to talk to, and they are not addressing the issue in any way.
