I purchased a curling iron from Temu on December 6. When I used the product, it emitted a burning smell and burned my hair, so I decided to return it and sent it back on December 25. I was informed on December 26 that the refund had been processed, but the amount has still not been reflected in my bank transactions. The order is registered in the name of Gülçin Bilen, and the return ID number given to me is TP-203-19144794195832001-p05. The refund is supposed to be made to my virtual card belonging to Garanti Bankası in Türkiye. In the return message sent to me, only an RRN code was shared, and there was no ARN code. When I contacted Temu via the application, I was repeatedly told to get in touch with my bank. I then contacted my bank, and they clearly stated that no refund had been sent yet, only that a refund seems to have been approved on Temu’s side. The bank specifically asked me for the ARN code and explained that if a refund had actually been transferred, there would definitely be an ARN code. Temu, however, insists that there is no ARN code and that they can only provide an RRN, which supports the bank’s statement that the money was not actually deposited. Despite contacting Temu customer service many times, I have not received a clear solution, and the refund amount has still not reached my account. I request that my refund be immediately processed to my Garanti Bankası virtual card. If Temu claims the refund has already been made, I also request that the ARN code be shared with me so that my bank can trace the transaction. According to my bank, if there is no ARN code, it means there has been no actual refund.

During a refund request, I saw the following warning on my account: “Temu credit temporarily unavailable due to unusual payment or Temu account activity.” I think there is a risk‑related issue, but this warning comes from Temu’s system, not my bank. My bank officially confirmed that there are no restrictions, risk flags, or blocks on my card or account. Also, because the refund has not been reflected, I initiated a repayment request. Please re‑check the refund process on your side and ensure the funds are transferred properly to the card network. Additionally, I have four more refunds where an RRN was provided but no ARN was issued. In total, there are four refunds that have not been processed.
