Temu Changed My Reward Terms in Farmland Game and Still Hasn’t Sent My Promised Gifts

On February 3, 2025, I came across an advertisement for the Temu app, which promised free gifts for completing a game called Farmland. I was intrigued and decided to try it out. After spending considerable time and effort playing the game, I finally completed it on Thursday, July 3. At the end, Temu awarded me one item and marked it as “in shipping.”

However, for the second promised item, they first claimed it was out of stock and asked me to choose another reward—despite the fact that I could clearly see the item still listed as available. Suddenly, without warning, they converted my reward into 65 credits, reducing its value significantly. This was done without my consent, and I immediately reached out to customer service.

At first, they responded by saying they would compensate me with other products I requested. But that never happened. They’ve been saying the same things over and over—“we’ll fix it,” “we’re escalating it,” “please wait,” “try finishing the game again”—but none of it results in action. It feels like they are intentionally misleading users and stringing people along with empty promises.

To make it worse, even the so-called “free coupons” come with unexpected taxes and charges. The order I was promised never arrived, and they’re denying it even existed, despite the fact that I’ve sent screenshots as proof showing their promises and my game completion. They talk as if they care—saying things like “you’re part of our family, we value you”—but it’s clear those are just scripted messages.

I spent days and nights finishing this challenge, genuinely excited about receiving rewards and supporting what I thought was a trustworthy platform. I even chose Temu because I wanted to support Turkish sellers, but now I deeply regret it.

Temu, I demand that you immediately send all the promised gifts as originally stated, honor your word, and stop deceiving users with fake offers and reward baiting. I’ve been extremely patient and cooperative, but this experience has left me feeling exploited and ignored.
