Tefal Iron Left Unrepairable Due to Missing Spare Parts After Months in Service

I am writing regarding my Tefal iron, which I took to the authorized service in Kayseri, Turkey on 24.03.2026 due to a malfunction. My device was examined and, after about two months, I was informed that the iron could not be repaired because the necessary spare part was not available. The service issued a record under number 49761 and then told me that Tefal could not supply the spare part and that I should buy a new iron, which would cost more than the repair itself. In other words, instead of offering a reasonable solution for a product that became unusable because of the brand’s own spare part problem, I was directed to purchase a more expensive new product. Although my iron is out of warranty, I find it unacceptable that Tefal does not provide spare parts and leaves the customer without a realistic option. A product that cannot be repaired due to lack of spare parts becomes effectively disposable, and the financial burden is unfairly transferred to the customer. I request a refund for my Tefal iron, or another fair financial solution, since it cannot be repaired solely due to the absence of a spare part that Tefal is responsible for supplying. I kindly ask for my complaint to be reviewed and for this issue to be resolved promptly.
