SunExpress Airlines Munich-Istanbul Flight – Canceled Connection and Poor Service
Our Munich-Istanbul flight turned into a nightmare. I purchased tickets in June for the Munich-Dalaman-Istanbul flight on July 28th. A few days later, the Dalaman-Istanbul connection was canceled. Since the next available flight was on the 29th and the airline did not provide a hotel, we had to cover the hotel costs ourselves. On the 28th, four hours before the flight, I couldn’t check in due to an incorrect PNR message. When we arrived at the airport, there was no airline staff present. The counter was empty 65 minutes before the flight. We were told to go to an AHS counter, which we found 58 minutes before the flight. The staff member there said "Good luck, go to another gate," and walked away even though all I needed was a boarding pass—no luggage or anything. We were stranded at the airport and had to pay a fortune to fly the next day. I doubt they’ll refund a single penny.
