I Face StubHub Refund Problems After Receiving An Invalid Concert Ticket
I purchased one ticket through StubHub for Gorillaz’s July 14 concert at Parkorman in Istanbul. However, when I arrived at the venue on the night of the concert, I discovered that I had actually been sold a ticket for the July 16 event, and that this ticket was not valid for the July 14 concert. Because of this, I was not allowed into the venue and experienced significant inconvenience. The price of my original ticket was $121, and my order number was 648614671.
At the entrance, I spent more than an hour on the phone with StubHub customer support trying to resolve the issue, but no solution was provided. I was only told, “Wait one more hour, we will get back to you.” At that moment, entry to the concert area had already started, all of my friends had entered, and I was still outside trying to solve this problem. If I had waited another hour, the concert would have already started; the event had effectively already begun.
Since the issue could not be resolved, I had to cancel the first ticket and purchase another ticket at the entrance. I paid $179 for the replacement ticket. As a result, I was forced to pay a significant price difference for the same event due to an issue that was not caused by me.
Afterward, I explained my situation to StubHub and requested a refund for the price difference between the two tickets. However, they did not respond positively to my request.
Due to the incorrect ticket date being sold and the insufficient support provided afterward, I request that my inconvenience be resolved. In particular, I request reimbursement for the price difference between the first ticket I purchased and the second ticket I was forced to buy at the venue.
