Spotify Double Charged My Student Subscription Payment
I use the Spotify Student subscription plan. On May 14, 2026, at 2:33 AM, I noticed that my payment had been charged twice at the exact same time. Even though my student package costs approximately $3, my bank card shows two separate transactions on the same date and time, resulting in a total charge of approximately $5.
I did not make any cancellation, upgrade, or additional purchase, yet I was charged twice for a single monthly subscription, which has caused inconvenience and frustration. I also do not see any extra service or benefit added to my Spotify account that would justify the second charge.
For this reason, I request that one of the duplicate charges made on the same date and at the same time be canceled and that the extra approximately $3 charged from my bank card be refunded to me immediately.
