I Report Unauthorized Charges on My Closed Spotify Account


I closed my Spotify account in April 2025, yet I discovered unauthorized charges on my Ziraat Bank credit card for June. I have email confirmation proving my account was closed on 12.04.2025 and bank statements showing the amounts charged afterward.
Despite the account closure, Spotify sent an email on 01.06 claiming they couldn’t process my payment. This contradicts the fact that I had already canceled my subscription in April. How can a canceled membership continue to generate charges in May and June? Moreover, it is unacceptable that Spotify charged my card twice in a single month without my consent.
These repeated unauthorized payments have caused me financial stress and distrust toward the platform.
I explicitly request a full refund for the unauthorized payments made after 12.04.2025 and an explanation for how my canceled account continued to be billed.
