I am writing to report an unauthorized charge of $12 made by Smallpdf on my debit card on March 19, even though I had already canceled my Pro subscription on February 26. Previously, I used a free trial of the Pro plan and was charged when I forgot to cancel in time. While I wasn’t happy about it, I accepted responsibility for that earlier charge.
However, this time I clearly canceled my Pro subscription before the renewal date, yet Smallpdf still charged my card. I am a struggling student in Nigeria, and this charge has had a significant impact on me financially.
I contacted Smallpdf customer support but only received automated responses and no clear explanation as to why I was charged after canceling. I have clear proof of my cancellation and am ready to provide it if needed.
I find this situation unfair and very concerning, especially given the financial impact on me as a student. If I do not receive a response or a refund, I am prepared to raise this issue on social media. I urge you to consider your brand reputation and resolve this matter promptly.
I request a full refund of the $12 that was charged after my cancellation and confirmation that my Pro subscription has been fully canceled to prevent any further charges.
