I Face $108 Charge From Smallpdf Despite Deleting Card Info Before Free Trial Ended

I signed up for the Smallpdf free trial to complete a task, but even though the service appeared under Pro features, it did not perform the function I needed. Because of this, I deleted my bank card information and logged out—well before the 7-day trial period was over.
Despite removing my payment details, I later discovered that $108 was still charged to my account. I immediately filed a complaint with my bank, but the charge still went through. I also contacted Smallpdf’s support team and explained that the trial had not even expired yet and that I had received no notification. However, I only received the same reply twice, stating that I had “already accepted the terms.”
This is completely unethical. Users should not be charged after deleting their card details, especially before the trial has ended. I request that my $108 be refunded immediately and that Smallpdf stop misleading customers in this way.
