Skechers Rejected My Claim on Poor Quality Shoes Despite Material Issues in Heel

I’ve purchased many pairs of Skechers over the years, but my recent purchase has been both a disappointment and a loss of trust in the brand. A few months ago, I sent the shoes in for review due to issues with the heel area, confident that Skechers would stand by their quality. To my shock, they rejected my claim, and it felt clear they hadn’t examined the shoes at all. Having worked as a Quality Coordinator, I understand these processes and expected they’d at least listen and consider the details provided. The problem is simple: while the shoe is practically like new, the inner heel area tore due to what I believe is poor material choice. They used hard plastic support inside with only a thin sponge and lining fabric over it, which inevitably leads to tearing under normal wear. Skechers replied that this was not a production error. It’s disappointing to think that a brand known for quality would brush this off, as this shoe tore due to poor material selection, not misuse. I’ve attached the pictures of the shoes, which clearly show the problem. I paid significantly more for Skechers compared to other brands, expecting durability and good customer support, but this experience has been the opposite. I’m now planning to have the shoes reviewed by an expert, notarize the report, and take this matter to court. I won’t be buying Skechers again and will share my experience widely. Anyone who sees these pictures would think twice before purchasing from this brand.
