I purchased a pair of Skechers shoes expecting durability and comfort, but the product showed serious deformation after fewer than 10 wears. As someone who prioritizes foot health, I always choose original and high-quality products. Unfortunately, this pair has caused both financial and emotional frustration due to its poor performance in such a short time.
I went back to the store where I purchased the shoes and requested either a refund or an exchange. However, my request was denied, and I was told to take the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Committee instead of being offered a direct solution. This response is unacceptable given the clear product defect.
According to Consumer Protection Law (Articles 8 and 11 of Law No. 6502), I have the right to request a refund or exchange when a product qualifies as a defective good. These shoes clearly fall under that definition, and Skechers should take responsibility without forcing customers into lengthy legal processes.
I have been a loyal Skechers customer for years, but this is the first time I have faced such mistreatment. I demand an immediate resolution through either a refund or product replacement. If my request is ignored, I will proceed with a formal complaint to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and will no longer consider Skechers in the future.
