If Sixt charged you for a driving violation you don't think you did, check your rental agreement and the violation notice to make sure they are correct.
Get proof that the claim is true, like photos with timestamps, GPS data, or proof of where you were at the time of the claimed violation.
Next, get in touch with the issuing authority directly. Sixt says that disputes should be dealt with the right authority. Use the letter of penalty charge to find specific contact information and steps on how to fight the violation.
Share proof and letters with the issuing authority to let Sixt know about your disagreement. This openness could stop any more charges while the disagreement is being handled.
If the authority settles the matter in your favour, get formal proof and give it to Sixt to ask for a refund. Keep copies of all interactions for future use during the process.
