Siemens Dw15703 Water Dispanser Loud Engine Problem
I purchased a freestanding Siemens DW15703 water dispenser, and since the very first use on 20 December 2025, the device has been making a loud engine noise whenever the cooling system is activated. This noise occurs every single time the cooling runs and is clearly disturbing during normal use. I contacted Siemens and the authorized technical service about this issue, and after their inspection, they stated that this noise is “normal.” I do not find this explanation satisfactory, especially considering that the product is under standard warranty and, in my view, a water dispenser designed for home use should operate more quietly. I request that my water dispenser be re-evaluated in detail by an authorized technical service and, if a fault is detected, that it be repaired under warranty. If this loud noise is a common issue in this series and cannot be resolved, I request a replacement with a properly functioning, quieter device.
Reggarding to my complaint via Şikayetvar (a Turkish consumer complaint website), Siemens customer service contacted me again and stated that they were unable to watch the video which I've uploaded however based on the service technician's statement, they said the compressor noise was normal. In other words, Siemens Türkiye's perception of normality hasn't changed; and additionally they simply didn't want to watch the video that I've uploaded. This is my personal opinion as a user who purchased five built-in appliances; I advise to end-users who are considering purchasing Siemens products, to be aware of the problems that they may encounter before making a decision. I will pursue my rights through legal channels, and I want prospective consumers to know that they may face similar problems – imposed, unresolved issues.
