I own a Siemens KG76NAI32N/09 freezer, and for about one week, the display screen has been continuously flickering. This is only a visual flicker, but it is constant and very disturbing in daily use, especially considering that the product is not very old. I contacted Siemens service about 5 days ago to report the issue. However, since my warranty expired only about 2 months ago, they stated that the repair would be chargeable and asked for a service fee. I find it unacceptable that such a problem occurs so soon after the end of the warranty period and that I am asked to pay for a fault that appears to be related to the product’s quality rather than user misuse. I do not want to pay money for this kind of problem, and I expect Siemens to provide a goodwill solution, such as repairing the screen flicker-free of charge or under special consideration, given that the warranty has only just expired and the defect is ongoing. I request that my complaint be reviewed and that an appropriate solution be offered as soon as possible.
