My Siemens Washing Machine Started Rusting Three Years Into Use
My Siemens washing machine started rusting three years into use. Additionally, debris from the gap between the drum and the rubber kept clogging the filter, which forced me to call for service multiple times. When I asked about replacing the front panel due to the rust, they told me it would be more reasonable to replace the entire machine instead. Yesterday, I found out that Siemens actually replaces the front panel free of charge until the seventh year of the machine, regardless of warranty status. But they only informed me of this after my machine had already reached nine years old. Now, they’re charging me a separate fee for the panel, and because the rust has spread, my machine has started having multiple issues. I've repeatedly requested service for the drum, and although they repaired it each time, the problem keeps recurring. The service center now says it's better to replace a machine that’s not even 10 years old. If they had replaced the front panel on time, my machine wouldn’t be falling apart today. I have serious complaints about both Siemens and their service center. They could have at least replaced the panel, but they didn’t even bother. I no longer recommend Siemens appliances to anyone.
