Siemens Not Supplying Spare Parts
I own a Siemens dishwasher, model SE56592/13, located in Ankara, Turkey. The appliance takes in water normally, but the circulation system is unable to generate sufficient hydraulic pressure, so water is not delivered to the spray arms at the required flow rate and pressure, and the dishwasher cannot be used properly. A Siemens service technician visited last week and, after inspection, stated that the problem is due to the circulation pump/impeller assembly, which needs to be replaced. However, I was informed that this specific spare part is not being supplied, meaning the machine cannot be repaired despite the fault being clearly identified. When a product is still within its usable lifespan, the lack of a critical replacement part gives the impression that customers are being indirectly pushed toward purchasing a new appliance. From a repairability and consumer rights perspective, this is highly concerning, and turning an otherwise functional machine into electronic waste because of a single component clearly contradicts sustainability principles. I request that Siemens supply the required circulation pump/impeller assembly for this model and ensure that my dishwasher is repaired and made fully functional again. I also expect clear information on how Siemens plans to support repairability and spare-part availability for products that are still in active use, so that similar issues do not occur in the future.
