Ten months ago, we purchased a dishwasher from Siemens authorized dealer and the same part has cracked for the third time. When we first got married, we couldn’t afford much and bought the cheapest dishwasher, which we used for 14 years without even a scratch. Now that our situation has improved, we chose Siemens thinking it was a higher quality brand, but we regret it. In less than 10 months, the door has cracked for the third time. I have never seen anything like this before. We buy a toy for our child for ₺100—he throws it around, smashes it, and it doesn’t break—yet the material used in this machine feels cheaper than a toy. We are tired of calling service and waiting for spare parts. Almost every two months, we have to take time off work just to wait at home for service. According to consumer rights, if a product has the same defect twice, you are entitled to a replacement, and ours has failed three times in the same way. The warranty is still valid, and we now want a permanent solution. I am requesting that the product be replaced or refunded and expect an urgent resolution to this matter.

I bought a Siemens brand dishwasher at the end of 2024 from Egemen Siemens Karşıyaka Store for approximately 16,000 TL. My machine is still under warranty. However, I experienced the first malfunction in May 2025, and the same issue has been recurring ever since. The part they install every month cracks again; the same problem occurred in June, August, and September as well. In total, I have encountered the same malfunction 4 times.

During this process, I have contacted the service center multiple times, and each time they just replaced the part and dismissed me by saying 'we will monitor it.' I also called customer service, and they told me they contacted the factory, but the factory did not approve a replacement. Although, according to the law, if the same malfunction occurs twice, the product must be replaced, the company ignores this right and does not resolve my grievance.

The service team comes to our house twice every month, and we are losing time from our work. We have become a laughingstock at work; people no longer believe us. We absolutely do not want to use this machine anymore and urgently request that our demand for replacement or refund be met. I demand that our grievance be resolved and our legal rights be enforced.

The service said they do not agree to replace the machine. This huge company disregards the law. We will proceed with the Consumer Arbitration Board.

They ignored the laws in Turkey and refused to accept the replacement. My advice to those who are considering buying a machine from this brand is to read the complaints before making a decision. They never stand behind the products they sell. The panel of our machine will be replaced for the third time. By the way, when the machine cracks, the board gets damp and water definitely gets inside, so in the long run, those parts will also start to fail. While we were barely making ends meet and wanted to buy a quality product for our home, we ended up in trouble. I will upload the photos to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and see what result comes from there. Be careful, friends, I suffered, don't let it happen to you.
