On February 26, 2023, I went to the Halkali-Yarimburgaz Shell gas station to fill up my car. My car can run on both gas and gasoline, so I filled up the gas tank and spent 200 TL on 9.77 liters of gasoline. But when I got back to my car after paying, I saw that 3–4 liters of gasoline had spilled out of the pump and onto the ground because it wasn't properly locked. The pump attendant did not provide any explanation for the spill, and when I inquired about it, the attendant made fun of me and claimed that it was water on the ground, not gasoline. As a regular customer of this gas station, I've been in a similar situation before. I told the authorized staff in the station's market and the pump attendant about it, but nothing was done. I'm upset that this gas station doesn't pay enough attention to safety and customer service. I want the right steps to be taken to make sure that the equipment works well and that customers are safe. Also, a way to make up for what I lost.
