I Face Weak Iced Tea and No Notice of Add-On Fees at Shake Shack Istanbul
On September 27, 2025, I visited the Shake Shack branch on Bağdat Avenue and left disappointed with both the drink quality and the lack of clear pricing information. I ordered an Iced Tea, but what I received tasted like plain black tea mixed with cold water — it was flavorless and clearly not up to Shake Shack’s usual standard.
During ordering, the cashier asked, “Would you like Cheddar?” and similar questions for add-ons, but no one mentioned that these options came with an extra cost. By the end, my total was ₺670, which felt unreasonably high for what I ordered.
I didn’t contact customer service about this issue, but I hope Shake Shack ensures better transparency moving forward. Customers should be clearly informed about additional charges for toppings or sides before confirming their orders. This would prevent misunderstandings and improve trust in the brand’s pricing practices.
