I Face Shake Shack Tema World Failing to Apply Fries Promotion and Refusing Refund
On October 3, 2025, I visited the Shake Shack branch at Tema World Mall to order a takeout hamburger and paid with my Sodexo card. The cashier told me that a current promotion would deduct the price of fries from my total. However, after paying, I noticed that the fries charge was still included on the receipt.
When I brought it up, the cashier called the assistant manager, who simply said that they couldn’t issue a refund and told me to leave without providing any written explanation or proof. This was my first visit to this branch, and the lack of professionalism left me very disappointed.
In total, I paid ₺1,485, didn’t receive the promotional discount, and left feeling frustrated by how poorly the situation was handled. I’m asking Shake Shack to issue a formal apology and to ensure the Tema World Mall staff are properly trained to honor promotions and treat customers respectfully. Transparency and good service are essential to maintaining trust in a global brand like Shake Shack.
