I Face Repeated Segway Scooter Failures And Unfair Service Demands

I purchased a Segway scooter with the expectation of quality and reliability, but I have not been able to use it properly since day one. The scooter has been sent to service four times in a row for the same recurring fault, yet each time it was returned to me without any real repair being done. The final time, instead of addressing the actual issue, the service center simply claimed “liquid damage” and demanded money for a product that is still under warranty.

This behavior feels like nothing more than an attempt to pressure customers into paying extra for a defective product. I specifically purchased the scooter through Vatan, trusting that it was covered under their warranty support. If Segway truly intends for these scooters to be used only indoors, they should be transparent about it at the time of sale. Instead, they marketed it as a roadworthy product, which is far from the truth.

I feel misled, frustrated, and financially burdened by this situation. I am preparing to escalate the matter to the Consumer Arbitration Board to ensure my rights are protected. I demand a full repair or replacement under warranty without any additional charges. Segway must take responsibility for the product they sold.
