Segway Ninebot F2 Pro Scooter Steering Issue Not Covered by Warranty
I purchased a Segway Ninebot F2 Pro electric scooter, and while still under warranty, the front wheel started moving independently from the steering column. I immediately sent it to the authorized service center for inspection. They reported that a small part inside the fork had broken, but instead of repairing it under warranty, they simply sent photos to Segway and told me the warranty does not cover it.
To make matters worse, they said the broken part is not even available separately. Their only solution was to replace the entire fork assembly, quoting me ₺4,500 for the part alone, excluding labor costs. Essentially, a minor part failure now requires a costly full replacement that the warranty refuses to cover.
When I requested a clear written statement from the service about the warranty rejection, they refused to provide it. This lack of transparency leaves me with no proof of their decision and no recourse to escalate my claim.
I demand that Segway and its authorized service center honor the warranty, replace or repair the faulty part free of charge, and stop shifting the burden of cost onto customers for factory defects. At the very least, I expect transparent documentation of the warranty decision so that I can pursue my rights. Customers should not have to pay thousands for a small defective component that fails within the warranty period.
