The Segway-Ninebot electric scooter won’t turn on. How can the startup issue be fixed?

If the Segway-Ninebot does not respond to the power button, this may be related either to the battery or to the electronics.

🔹 Possible causes:

The battery is completely discharged.

The charger or cable is faulty.

The charging port contacts are oxidized or damaged.

Controller or power button failure.

Moisture has entered the device.

🔹 What to try:

Connect the scooter to the charger for at least 2–3 hours, even if the indicator light does not turn on.

Test the charger on another device or with a multimeter.

Press and hold the power button for 5–10 seconds — this can help if the system is frozen.

Inspect the charging port and clean it of dirt/oxidation.

If the scooter still won’t turn on after charging and restarting, the problem may be in the battery or controller, and service diagnostics will be required.
