Mr. Samsung General Manager, why are you rendering the Netflix application, which is built into the TV and functioning, inoperative by claiming it needs an update? Our TV is the UE40 D7000 model, purchased in 2011. Until yesterday, we were able to watch Netflix without any issues. However, when we tried to access Netflix yesterday, an Application update prompt appeared. After completing the update, we found that the Netflix app wouldn't launch. We reached out to both Samsung Customer Service and Netflix Customer Service regarding this matter. Samsung Customer Service informed us today that Netflix has ceased software support for TVs from 2012 and earlier. In contrast, when we contacted Netflix Customer Service, they stated that license agreements with all brands were still in effect, and responsibility for the TV's built-in applications lay with the TV company, while Samsung was responsible for the application software. We urgently request that the necessary actions be taken to restore Netflix functionality on our TV.
