Samsung RT46K600WW Refrigerator Noise and Service Issue
About a month and a half ago, my Samsung RT46K600WW refrigerator, which I purchased in 2016, started making an extremely loud and disturbing noise almost every hour throughout the day—so loud that it can be heard from other rooms in the house. Since the issue began, I’ve contacted Samsung customer service multiple times, and the authorized service team in my city has visited 4–5 times with different crews to inspect the appliance. Initially, one technician claimed the noise was coming from the fan and replaced it, during which the foam at the back of the refrigerator was also broken. Despite this, the noise persisted, and none of the interventions provided a permanent solution. I contacted customer service again and, at their request, sent a video clearly capturing the noise, only to receive an inadequate response saying, “We need to hear the sound at the time of the noise,” without offering any real solution. The noise problem continues at a disturbing level. I have already paid ₺1,500 for service and part replacement, yet the issue remains unresolved. Although the product is out of warranty, I believe Samsung should take responsibility for the repeated malfunction, poor technical support, and unresolved process by offering free repair, replacement, or a refund of the amount I paid. Samsung is a brand that cannot even properly identify defects in its own products and chooses to stall instead of solving problems. It causes frustration through both its technical service and customer support, and no consumer who values their money should ever purchase from this brand.
