For the past two months, my Samsung RF85K90127F refrigerator has been suffering from a serious cooling problem. Even though the temperature is set to 3°C, it often rises to 10°C, and every time the door is opened or closed, the fridge emits continuous warning sounds. As a result, I am unable to store food safely.
This is not the first time I have faced such issues. Back in 2023, I had to pay ₺3,000 for a door replacement due to a similar fault. Now the same problem has reappeared. I called Samsung service again, and this time they claimed the issue was caused by wiring faults in the door. They charged me ₺1,000 just for diagnostics and then quoted ₺16,000 for replacing all doors. To make matters worse, they only had a door available in a different color, suggesting that I install mismatched parts. I found this solution both unprofessional and unacceptable.
Adding to the frustration, the service record was marked as if the problem had been resolved, and I even received a message saying “your issue has been fixed,” despite nothing being repaired.
Although my warranty has expired, I was assured at the time of purchase that Samsung would guarantee spare parts availability. Now, with repeated breakdowns, unavailable parts, and excessive repair quotes, I feel completely let down. So far, I have already spent ₺4,000 on service costs, yet there is still no permanent solution.
I expect Samsung to resolve this issue fairly:
If the doors must be replaced, they should all be provided in the original matching color at a reasonable cost.
If spare parts cannot be supplied, Samsung should replace my refrigerator with a new model to compensate for the repeated failures.
