Samsung Refused to Fix My TV with LED Shadowing After Warranty Ended
There are issues with uneven backlighting and shadowing on the television purchased from CarrefourSA, which I believe are caused by the LED bars. I contacted Samsung regarding this issue and requested support. However, I was informed that no free support could be provided as the warranty period has expired. To get back to the matter at hand; televisions, refrigerators, and washing machines are expected to have a lifespan of 10 years. Consumers have the right to request a replacement of the product if a malfunction occurs before the end of its expected lifespan. If I do not receive support or goodwill in this matter, I will have to initiate legal proceedings. At the same time, I will escalate the issue to Samsung Global and inform them that Samsung Turkey is knowingly and deliberately causing customer dissatisfaction, which does not align with the brand’s corporate identity.
