Samsung UE55BU8500 TV Developed Screen Blotches After Warranty Ended
32

About 2–3 weeks ago, my Samsung UE55BU8500 TV developed a screen blotching issue. The warranty had expired 10 months earlier, and I had purchased the product from Vatan Bilgisayar. I still have the invoice and all related documents. After the problem occurred, I contacted Samsung customer service, and during the call, I was told that the screen needed to be replaced and that I would have to pay almost the same amount I had originally paid for the TV. This situation has caused me significant trouble, as this is the first time I have encountered such an issue with the device, and I did not expect such a fault in such a short time span. I once considered this brand to be of high quality, but seeing it fail to support its customers has been very discouraging. Even many lesser-known brands offer a 3-year warranty on their TVs. It is truly disappointing that Samsung turned out to be such a poor choice. Under consumer rights and customer satisfaction, I request that this screen blotching issue be repaired free of charge and that the necessary support be provided.
