In January 2024, I applied for the electric vacuum cleaner gift promotion for dual appliance purchases from ShopSamsung, providing all necessary documents and meeting all conditions. Despite their commitment to deliver the gift within 45 days, it has been over three months, and the vacuum has not arrived. Despite multiple conversations with customer representatives, I received evasive responses like "we'll try to expedite delivery due to stock issues."
It's baffling that the gift product is always in stock when you try to purchase it from the website, but suddenly becomes unavailable when it's meant to be sent as a gift. You've exceeded the promised 45-day period by another 45 days, yet there's been no action taken. Neither I nor my family and friends will purchase any Samsung products in the future. I dread the potential issues I'll face if any of my current products malfunction.
Even your installation service technicians overcharge for additional items. They insisted on selling me a water filter for the dishwasher and a surge protector for the dryer at prices much higher than market averages, claiming the products are necessary for warranty coverage. Feeling pressured and unaware of the consequences, I reluctantly accepted.
I have taken the necessary steps to address this issue by filing a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board and will escalate my complaint to Samsung Korea. It's unacceptable that such behavior is tolerated in our country while it wouldn't be tolerated in European countries.
