Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5G Inner Screen Defect Repaired Three Times

To Samsung Authorities, I have sent my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5G device to an authorized service center for the third time due to the same recurring issue: inner screen shifting and cracking caused by this shifting. The first two repairs were completed under warranty, and I was informed that Samsung had taken “initiative” in resolving them. However, during my third application for the same defect, I was again told that “initiative” was being taken and that such damage is normally considered user-induced. I would like to emphasize that when the same issue occurs repeatedly for the third time, the product is considered a defective product under consumer protection regulations. In a foldable device, problems directly related to the folding mechanism of the inner screen cannot reasonably be attributed to user error. Moreover, this issue is accepted as a warranty-covered manufacturing defect in many countries abroad, which shows an inconsistency in Samsung’s warranty practices. Labeling a product-related defect as “user fault” without a clear technical explanation is unfair and damages consumer trust. Samsung is a brand I have consistently recommended to my family and others, often defending it against competing brands. Experiencing this approach after such loyalty has been extremely disappointing. Due to this experience, I will no longer recommend Samsung products and will guide future purchases toward alternative brands. This message is written not only for my own case, but also to inform future customers about what they may face in similar situations. As the same defect has occurred three times on the inner screen, I clearly request that my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5G device be replaced with a new device instead of another repair.
