Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro Defects From Day One - Service Charging Full Price

I have been experiencing several chronic issues with my Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro from the very first day I received them, including constant wind noise in Ambient Sound mode, rapid battery drain, uneven battery levels between the left and right buds, Bluetooth disconnections, crackling sounds, and the microphone transmitting muffled audio. All of these problems have been present since the moment I opened the box and never improved. On 13.11.2025, I sent the earbuds to the authorized service center with record number 4290335587. In the form I submitted before sending the device, I clearly stated that the wind noise problem in Ambient Sound mode had existed since day one and that this was not user error but a manufacturing defect (a hidden flaw). I also explained that I had delayed submitting the device to service due to an intense exam and training period. Since the device was a gift, I do not have the purchase receipt or warranty card; however, the issues have been present from the device’s first use. Despite all this, the service center categorized the product as “out of warranty” and issued a repair bill including VAT. This amount is equivalent to the price of a brand-new pair rather than a repair fee. According to consumer law, if a product has a hidden defect, the manufacturer remains responsible even if the official warranty period has expired. When I contacted Samsung customer service, I was only told to send the product to the service center, and I was not informed that I might face such a high fee. My request is that the repair charge be canceled under the hidden defect provision and that my product be replaced free of charge. I expect proper customer care; otherwise, I will submit my documents and file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board.
