Samsung BU8500 TV Stopped Playing Movies From Internet Websites
I purchased a Samsung BU8500 model TV in 2022, and even though it hasn’t been three years yet, it has stopped playing movies from online streaming sites. I called customer service, and after trying a few settings without success, they told me, “Over time, your TV will no longer be able to play movies from websites; we recommend using apps instead.” What? I specifically bought this TV for that feature—to watch any movie I want directly from the internet! Now I’ve learned that a Samsung TV becomes useless after three years. I’m calling on the company to take responsibility because I regret buying a Samsung TV. After just three years, your software has become worthless and can’t even open movies. I shouldn’t be forced to use Netflix. This is what we pay you for, and I regret it deeply. Never again will I buy Samsung!
