I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding a recent issue I encountered with my Samsung Smart TV, Model code: UE50TU8000XTK - Version no: YA01/UTU8000/UTU8000H-U50TH1 - S/N: 05NV36MNB04724D, which has left me dissatisfied with the product's durability and overall quality. On 25 December 2023, my Samsung Smart TV failed to turn on, prompting me to seek assistance from Samsung Customer Service. After thorough diagnostics, I was informed that the issue lies with the panel, and a panel replacement is required. To my dismay, the television's warranty has recently expired, leaving me responsible for the repair costs. I would like to bring to your attention that I have been a loyal customer of Samsung for several years, and I have always chosen your brand for its reputation for quality and innovation. However, the premature failure of a critical component like the panel within just three years of purchase raises serious concerns about the product's manufacturing standards. I firmly believe that a Smart TV, a significant investment for any consumer, should not become obsolete or require major repairs shortly after the expiration of its warranty, especially when there is no evidence of mishandling or misuse on my part. I kindly request that Samsung address this matter promptly by considering the circumstances and extending support for the necessary panel replacement at no cost to me. I believe that such a gesture would not only restore my faith in the Samsung brand but also demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction and the quality of your products. "The reason I chose Samsung was its quality, and now I also distinguish it from other brands because of its after-sales services. They responded with a tradesman mentality. Even though my warranty had expired, my panel malfunction was fixed twice and I was not charged. +The customer representative lady personally took care of the situation and called each time to inform me that they were following up on the process. I especially appreciate this as well. Unlike the usual customer representative cases, it’s great that she was the only one following up on the issue. Note: +I bought 5 pieces of Samsung white goods this week, got carried away and bought for the other house too 😁 I hope we won’t be let down and your after-sales support continues..."
