I sent my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 to the authorized Samsung service center in Ankara on the 22nd after the screen stopped working — despite no drops, impact, or liquid damage. When I first bought the phone, I noticed a slight creaking noise when folding the screen for the first month or two, but I didn’t think much of it. Later, the screen completely stopped functioning.
Even though my device is still under warranty, the service center claimed there was damage to the frame, stating that this supposedly caused the screen to break. They refused warranty coverage and instead demanded a repair fee of ₺13,500. This accusation is completely false — there has never been any physical or liquid damage to my phone.
I paid ₺39,999 for this device, and experiencing such a critical malfunction so soon — along with being unfairly blamed for it — is extremely disappointing. I have already submitted my purchase invoice to the service center.
I request that Samsung replace my phone under warranty and take responsibility for this clearly defective device. I expect my consumer rights to be respected and my issue resolved immediately.
