Brand/Model: Samsung Z Flip 5
Issue: A crease line has formed along the screen’s fold, and the plastic bezels at the closing edges have fallen off. I have experienced the same problems before, and the device has already been serviced three times.
Process:
On 2025-01-30, I visited the Samsung Authorized Service Center (Mecidiyeköy / Istanbul) due to screen issues; the screen and frame were replaced.
After the replacement, the screen issues continued.
On 2025-10-30, I brought the device back to the same service center, reporting the crease line on the inner screen and the fallen bezels. I was told it was “user damage” and was offered a paid repair.
My service order numbers are: 4283119777 (previous) and 4289995782 (most recent).
I contacted customer service 7–8 times, but despite all my requests, I was repeatedly told it was “user error / screen impact,” and no assistance was provided.
Warranty / Costs:
I purchased the device for $862 USD.
My warranty was still active during my last service visit; it expired on 2025-11-14.
During the last service visit, I was asked to pay $403 USD, which I did not accept.
My Request:
Due to the recurring failure and the hinge/screen issues being of a chronic nature, I request a free device replacement or a full refund.
I seek a permanent solution rather than another repair. I ask that the “user error” assessment be re-evaluated, and that my repeated service records and recurring faults be taken into account so that my issue can be resolved properly.
