Samsung Z Flip 7 Screen Broke on Its Own, Service Blames User and Refuses Warranty
On September 9, 2025, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 from the Samsung Authorized Service Center at Emaar Square Mall in Üsküdar, Istanbul. After just 23 days of normal use, without any drop, impact, or external interference, I opened the phone and noticed a crack forming along the center of the screen. Immediately after, the touchscreen stopped responding entirely, rendering the device unusable.
I took the phone back to the same authorized service center on October 3. After inspection, they claimed that the issue was due to user damage, refused warranty coverage, and demanded a paid repair. I strongly disagree with this conclusion — the device should be considered defective (ayıplı mal), as such a failure occurring this soon and without any mishandling is unacceptable.
I paid ₺75,000 for this device, and I cannot accept that a premium product like this can fail within a few weeks and still be excluded from warranty coverage.
I am demanding a full refund for the defective product.
