Ryanair Baggage Payment Issue & Unfair Charges—Refund Request
I recently traveled with Ryanair on flight from Nantes to Marseille on 17.02.2025 (21:40-23:05), and I experienced unfair treatment regarding baggage payment. Upon check-in, I was asked to pay for my baggage, which I was prepared to do. However, since I did not have a credit card and could only pay in cash, they refused to accept it and provided no alternative solution. As a result, they canceled my ticket, leaving me stranded.
What’s even more frustrating is that they already charged me 107 euros for the original ticket, and then, at the airport, I was forced to pay an additional 60.50 euros under the vague label of a "stamp fee". This is completely unacceptable. If Ryanair does not accept cash for baggage fees, they should clearly state this in advance or offer alternative payment solutions instead of simply canceling a passenger’s flight.
I demand a full refund for both the original 107 euros and the additional 60.50 euros I was unfairly charged. Ryanair must take responsibility for this lack of proper communication and inflexible policies.
