I am experiencing a serious issue with my 2025 Peugeot e5008, as water leaks into the vehicle during rain through the sunglasses storage compartment in the roof. In a city like Antalya, where rain can start suddenly and fall heavily, encountering such a problem in a brand-new vehicle is both damaging to trust and harmful to the vehicle’s value. When I was contacted by Peugeot headquarters regarding a recall campaign, I initially thought this recall might also be related to the water leak issue. During my in-person meeting with Antalya Antoto Liman Peugeot Service, I was told that the vehicle would be tested and that further action would be planned for a later date.

Later, I learned that the recall campaign was only related to the air vents, and that no clear repair process had actually been initiated for the water intrusion problem I am experiencing. Even though I clearly proved the water leak with videos when I visited the service center, I was only told that “tests will be performed, the process may take a long time, and you need to wait.” I was left with the strong impression that I was called in merely to determine whether the issue was their fault or not, rather than to begin any concrete repair steps. As a result, despite taking time off work and waiting for hours, I left the service center without any permanent repair being performed.

In a city like Antalya, where heavy rain can occur at any moment, the situation effectively felt as though I was being told to park my car in a covered garage and wait for days or even weeks. However, approximately two days later, when it rained again, the vehicle once again took in water from the same location. This raises serious concerns for me, as it may lead to future loss of vehicle value and poses potential risks to the interior components and overall safety of the vehicle.

I request that Peugeot and the authorized Antalya Antoto Liman service center repair my vehicle’s water leak issue immediately, permanently, and free of charge, and that all necessary waterproofing and sealing inspections be carried out in detail. I also demand that any current or future loss of vehicle value caused by this defect be compensated. Additionally, I ask that this process not remain at a mere “case registered” stage, but instead be supported by a clear solution plan and written communication, so that my grievance is properly resolved.
