Ryanair Charged 70 Euro for Standard Cabin Bag and Treated Me Rudely on Fuerteventura–Madrid Flight

28

On May 10, 2025, at 08:15, I flew with Ryanair from Fuerteventura to Madrid, and to my shock, I was forced to pay an unjust 70 Euro fee for my standard cabin-size suitcase. This is the very same bag I used when flying from Turkey to Fuerteventura via Germany, and I have also used it on many other airlines without a single problem. Even during boarding, I noticed other passengers carrying larger bags than mine who were allowed on without issue, yet I was singled out and treated unfairly. To make matters worse, I was boarded last, spoken to rudely, and not even allowed to explain myself. The staff completely dismissed me and offered no justification. I feel this was not only discriminatory but also against basic customer service standards. Ryanair is a major airline, and it is unacceptable for them to randomly target passengers and charge extra for baggage that clearly meets normal cabin standards. I have already sent emails to the company but have received no response at all. I am requesting that Ryanair refund the 70 Euro fee and take accountability for the unprofessional and humiliating treatment I received on this flight.
