I Missed My Ryanair Flight Due to Wrong Gate Info and Was Charged Extra ₺100
I missed my Ryanair flight from Berlin to Milan on May 23, 2025 at 9:50 AM because the gate number in the app was incorrect and later changed without any notification. By the time we found the correct gate, it had already closed. We immediately went to speak with a Ryanair representative, who told us we had to pay an additional ₺100 to rebook—even though the original ticket only cost ₺120.
After agreeing to pay, we were then told that the offer had expired and we now had to buy a new ticket online at a higher price. This happened at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, and the entire experience was infuriating and deeply unprofessional.
If Ryanair doesn't properly inform passengers about gate changes or train their staff to handle such situations fairly, they're going to end up facing serious consequences. I demand a full refund or compensation for the ticket I paid for but was prevented from using due to their error.
