Ryanair Forced Extra Check-In Fee Due to System Error

January 17, 2025 10:54 AM88

I purchased tickets from Ryanair online for a flight to Bratislava at a reasonable price. However, when I tried to complete the online check-in before the flight, the system wouldn’t allow it, repeatedly rejecting the process. On the day of the flight, we were forced to pay an additional €55 per person at the airport for check-in, totaling €220 for our group.

This practice feels like a deliberate attempt to exploit customers. The inability to check in online, combined with no option to cancel the tickets, left us with no choice but to pay the extra fees. Many other passengers seem to have experienced similar issues.

I demand a refund for the unfair charges and a resolution to prevent such issues in the future. Ryanair must address this system flaw and stop penalizing customers for their own errors.

There was a typo. We are 4 people, 55 Euros per person, we paid 220 Euros.
