LG 65UT91006LA TV Keeps Restarting - Memory Error Since Purchase
I purchased an LG 65UT91006LA television about 5–6 months ago and from the first day it has been constantly turning itself off and on. The TV frequently gives a warning saying that it is being shut down to free up memory because there is not enough memory, then it turns off and back on. Sometimes it can do this 10 times within a single minute. This situation has become extremely disturbing, as it now happens every day and at all hours, and today it has started to occur even more often. I contacted LG support about this issue and was told that it was not a malfunction but a software problem, and that it would be fixed with an upcoming update. About 1.5–2 months later an update arrived, but the problem was not resolved and in fact became even worse. After another 1–2 months I contacted LG again in writing, and they repeated that it was a software issue and would be fixed with an update, but they did not provide a clear date or guarantee as to when this would actually be resolved. Meanwhile, the television continues to turn itself off and on so frequently that it has become unusable and we have no tolerance left for this problem. I request that LG urgently resolve this problem in a permanent way if they are able to do so in the very short term. If they cannot provide a clear and definite solution time, I demand an urgent replacement of my LG 65UT91006LA television, as I do not want to continue using a product that has been defective in this way since the day of purchase.
